SMT. SUNAYANA HAZARILAL

Sunayana Hazarilal learnt Kathak from Guru Pandit Hazarilal, great and foremost student of Nritya Samrat Ashaque Hussain. Besides performing all over India for various festivals, she has performed all over UK and Europe during her 27 tours abroad since 1974.
She has received the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Kathak in 2003 and Maharashtra Gaurav Samman in 2004. She also won M.L. Kosar Award 2009 and was awarded Padma Shri in 2011. She has been invited to teach at the Dance Department of UCLA in Los Angeles for years.
