Sh. ABDUL GAFUR KHATRI

Abdul Gafur Khatri Master is a Rogan artist from Nirona in Kutch district, Gujarat. Khatri was born in a family of rogan artists. It is the last family of Rogan artists still active.

Khatri was awarded the National Merit certificates in 1988, State Award in 1989, National Award in 1997 and State Certificate by Gujarat Govt in 2013. He was also awarded the Padma Shri in 2019 and Gujarat Tourism and Travel Excellence Award in 2021.
